World health links are widespread, but one of the most informative and up-to-date is available at the CDC

One good link to environmental information is IIASA

Another link on climate change is maintained by the UNEP.

Ironically, the Global Futures Foundation home page has a graphic of the USA on which a tiny globe sits. Despite this bizarre image, there is some good stuff on the environment and the economy here.
