Chapter 11: Individuals: Perceptions

How do individuals form and reform their images of world politics? How are images and perceptions of the world related to one another? Moreover, do personalities as well as stress have predicable impacts on decision making in the foreign policy realm? I am still looking for some good links on important individuals in foreign affairs, but so far I haven't found any that really relate very well to the book. Any help is welcome.

One link is to the Institute for Perception Research, where some information about this topic - at a very general level - may be found.

There is also a wonderful document that serves information about cognitive and agent architectures that can be accessed at the AI lab at the University of Michigan. Much of this, is about machine learning, as an analogy for and potential replacement of human decision making.
