Ronald J. Comer has taught abnormal psychology at Princeton University for almost two decades. He has served as Director of Clinical Studies for many years, and in 1993 received the university's prestigious President's Award for Distinguished Teaching.
Dr. Comer's Abnormal Psychology is distinguished by its complete presentation of theoretical perspectives and research, its unique overviews of treatment options, and its evenhanded assessment of the models used to understand psychological disorders. It is a broad, accurate picture of a diverse and continually expanding field--the competing points of view and the variety of clinical symptoms and treatments it encompasses.
